Just purchased and installing unit. Received customer communication today to not use ACU100 plus a number of other products without rudder reference transducer. Autopilots suffering from this problem will have compromised steering performance in Auto, Track & Vane modes. "Strongly advise you not use the Autopilot until corrective action has been taken", according to Raymarine. Note issued 03/04/2020. Amazon have been saying for the last couple of weeks that it is out of stock. That is not True. Amazon knows they are unsafe.
