The tank was delivered quickly. I was a little surprised how small it was but the gift is for my 9 year old grandson which he will get next month.

This RC tank has been such a hit in our house! I got it as a gift for my son, but honestly, it’s just as fun for adults too! The army green design is super cool, and it has all these awesome features like auto-demo, sound, light, and even smoke effects that really bring the military vibe to life. The 2.4G remote control makes it easy to drive and shoot, and with 13 channels, it’s perfect for playing with multiple tanks at once. It's built well and tough enough to handle a little rough play. It’s been such a fun addition to our family game nights, and honestly, I might be having just as much fun as the kids! If you're looking for a gift that’s both exciting and interactive, this is it.

Easy to drive around with the controls and the tracks and suspension work great. This tank is not fast at all, but tanks in general are not. The tank will climb books and other obstacles provided the obstacles are not larger than the tank tracks can reach. The suspension is very realistic to the real thing and watching it go through grass and different terrain is awesome. The turret can turn about 160 degrees back in either direction. It cannot point 180 degrees backwards and will cause it to have a very audible click click click if you try. Turret is independently controlled using the remote and you can turn the turret AND drive at the same time, though takes some created hand movements, lol.If you use the included squeeze bottle and fill with clean tap water, put in the rubber plug at the back of the tank. The tank emits a water vapor cloud that looks like smoke from the engine, it really works and looks so cool. The smoke can be turned on or off via a button on the remote. It also lights up a blue led at the smoke exhaust presumably to light up the vapor. I wish you could turn the light off and keep the exhaust on as the led is distracting but cool nonetheless.Tank also has sound effects via a button on the remote and includes sounds when driving, turning, turret operation and firing the cannon. Front led lights that also turn on via a button on the remote.Soak the included bb's in clean water for 12-24 hours and then they will be ready to use. the hatch at the top of the turret is where you will load them. When ready to shoot, push the fire button on the remote and it will fire the BB. It is spring operated and doesn't shoot hard. I placed my hand in front of the barrel and fired a round into my hand and I barely felt it so no worries of someone getting hurt from this. These water bb's are non-toxic as they do not have toxic chemicals in them. HOWEVER, they are the same thing as that descent pack that comes in modern electronics. When exposed to liquid they swell to 500 times their size. This can cause blockages in intestines, throats , blood vessels, etc. PLEASE supervise you kids and don't fire around pets as they can be VERY HARMFUL if swallowed.The barrel can fire with the turret pointed in any direction. The barrel itself is NOT movable up/down/left/right. The barrel is fixed and only the turret moves. When you press the fire button the tank rocks back and forth to simulate recoil. This looks great if the turret is pointed forward. However any other direction, especially 90 degrees left or right and it looks just wrong as real recoil does not cause the tank to rock forward and back if the barrel is pointed off center. Minor gripe I know. Also when you shoot, the firing mechanism is incredibly loud with a heavy click click. And I mean VERY loud. The sounds completely blocks out the sounds of the "simulated fire" sound from the speakers. The click click sound is completely off putting and takes you out of the whole experience. Also, the fire mechanism seems to not work well as sometimes it shot a whole bb but over half the time it chopped the bb and caused a shotgun like effect with broken bb's. For this reason and the loud audible click click, I removed a star.Other than that this is a great tank and a fun experience. Great for kids and adults alike with the proper supervision.
