They are the perfect size for paracord. I used them to make a retraction system for bamboo shades. (see YouTube) They operate very smoothly. How mush weight could they hold -- not sure, the axel is plastic but worked well for me Would buy again.

I have no idea what these are used for on poultry farms? But they are a great, cost effective way to hang a wire loop antenna ('sky loop') and to allow some give and take as storms cause support poles (or trees) to move. The plastic wheel doesn't spin well without some tension, but then they spin just fine. Also the radius of curvature is sufficient to not stress the support point of the wire. They can be painted, too. I expect they would last several years in the sun.

I bought three sets of these because had situation where I was trying to use them to hang a large tarp in a steel cable. These come apart so didn’t have to take the cable down and feed it through 18 of these. However, when took them apart discovered the pins that the wheel rotates on were of different lengths even though the pulleys all were the same height. Noticed this after was up on a ladder trying to hang them and put them back together. Some were too short so had to take everything down and sort all parts from 18 pulley sets and then rehang everything. Once put back together they seem to work fine. Just be aware if you have a situation where you have to take them apart to get them hung, be careful to keep the sets separate.

Making a pulley frame for 5th grade science. Easily fit parachute cord through the pulley. just the right size. I don't know how these will hold up to heavy duty use, that's not my purpose. When I had all 10 hooked up in sequence there was a bit of tension caused by friction in the wheels. A shot of wd 40 took care of that. Have not tried to disassemble a pulley, as there was no need to.
