I have never tried these type of hooks or rigs before, mostly Texas rig fishing for me. I actually like the ability to screw the plastic onto the hook and how it bounces/swims in the water. It is also tungsten which isn't cheap and becoming more widely used in fishing and hunting. I didn't weight these but the weight feels correct and the hooks can easily go through you soft plastic and finger.

Finally got a chance to use these last weekend and although I didn't catch anything, I'm sure I will. These are great quality for the price and the hook is nice and sharp so be careful!

I use this jig head with some salty lunker grubs. They inherently have some fat tails and some movement, but these heads take it to the next level. I've caught both smallies and largemouth with these heads. When I first got them out on the water I messed around with some different plastics in clear water to watch the action. If you're going with a shorter grub these definitely stand up a bit better. I've found that the plastics screw on really well and line up nicely with the hook after a little practice. Great addition to the tackle box!

Lost the bait keeper screw on 3 different fish and couldn't continue to use them. Why make them loose?? Onoy shakey head jig I've owner where the screw isn't actually at attached to the head. Will not buy or recommend again.
