Very easy to do.Open the plug to fill with water (you can add extra glitter at this step), fill with water, put on drying rack for an hour or so, use cardboard to shape the photo and for support. Done.If you put the picture in and then tried to fill it with water then that's wild and on you lol I must admit that the space for the pictures is quite large but I utilized this to put extra photos for back up.

Globes are a bit to small to visualize well. Water port is very tiny & almost impossible to get water into globe. Design to interchanged picture which is best part.

Made great individualized gifts for cast of a play. Inexpensive (and clearly so), but cute and fun.

The globe says for 3 and up, but the assembly is for older child or adult. Had to use a syringe to get the water in without dripping into the photo slot. The trimming of the photo was well beyond the ability of a three year old. When complete, the tiny plug which holds in the water is exposed and not secure. We added duct tape to help keep the photo and water in.The end result is cute enough, and they are a decent value for the price.

Bought these globes to do with the grandkids. One of them wanted a snow globe, when I saw this I decided they could make their own. I have 7 grandkids 12,10, 9, 7, 5, 4 & 3. They made some great drawings. The 3 & 4 year old liked using stickers. I like the idea of them being able to change the pictures at any time. I used Qtips to make sure the slot for the picture was dry before they inserted the picture.
