It doesn’t indent the letter as much as it says...I with the leather so I have a better engraving and no improvement

Dampen you Vegetable tanned leather, let sit 10 min or so and use a hard surface and mallet. Don't pound too much or you can cut all the way through on 2-4 oz leather. Have had no issues using these stamp, and would recommend purchasing them. Very good for the money.Remember, Chrome or upholstery tanned leather does not imprint very well.Shipping through Amazon was reasonable

I have a leather-working business. Since I added this set to the alphabets I offer, nearly all my orders have requested this font. Perfect for adding a name or initials to journals and tablet covers. I like the fact that each stamp has a dot on the back in the bottom left corner, so you know right away if you have somehow flipped it upside down or sideways (why yes, I've done that--GAH!)

This is a great little stamping kit. The letters and numbers are large enough for my dogs leashes. There’s no dash for the phone number, so I just used the end of the stamper and put a dot.Good quality, clear lettering.
