It was very easy to install and, once in place, it looks very realistic. Mine worked perfectly out of the box but would be easy to cut to a shorter length, if required. Easily to remove and store for next year. Works and looks exactly as advertised.

This is made of a thick rubber which can be cut to the height you need to fit your tree. when I put it on and stepped back it was rather convincing looking making the tree feel more "real". I actually really like this and am glad I bought it.

I am loving this fake bark. Not that people can’t distinguish a real or fake tree, but this adds a touch that makes it look more real. The bark piece is almost like a rubber feel. It has Velcro on the ends, and comes a certain width. Based on your tree, you would cut the height you need. I ended up having to cut about 2†off of it. I used the large piece for the base of the tree, and kept the other to use wherever I need it up further on the tree (any place that is light on branches or to hide cords). Standing up you really can’t see my bark, but if you are sitting on the couch you can, and I am loving the look. Totally worth it!

Cool, fairly realistic looking product that mostly solved my problem. An issue I had is that the velcro is stronger than the adhesive holding the velcro on, so when I tried to unvelcro it, it pulled the velcro off the product. So just be careful of that. Also, I really wish I could get one with a larger circumference. I had to shorten it more than I wanted to because it wouldn't fit over the tree stand lock, or even a tiny bit of where the pole meets the stand. My tree skirt doesn't tighten enough to cover the top of the stand, and I bought this product so I wouldn't have to get a tree collar to cover it.also it would just look more natural to have a wider trunk for my larger tree, so please make bigger ones!

I was a bit surprised when I stumbled on this, couldn’t believe something like this existed. It’s great and made my older tree look real. Newer tree branches tend to go to the floor more than older trees and while I prefer that look I don’t have the funds to purchase a new tree. This was a wonderful compromise. Our tree collar looked really good with it too!

It's really frustrating when you spend an hour or more getting your artificial tree set up and "fluffing" all the branches, then finally stand back to admire your work and notice that the metal pole in the middle still sticks out like a sore thumb!The solution: This genuis faux tree bark!You simply cut the bark to the length you need for each segment of exposed pole, then wrap the bark around the pole segments. A strip of velcro secures the bark in place. Amazing!I mean, nobody's going to be fooled into believing your tree is real, but this product will help you and others suspend your disbelief until you have to take the tree down and stuff it back into its box or bag and haul it back to the storage closet once again.For reference, I have a 9-foot artificial tree, so I needed two packages of the bark to cover all of the exposed pole on my tree, but I'm sure one package would cover most trees 7-foot tall or shorter.

My tree stands up higher. This isn't high enough MEASURE YOUR STAND otherwise looks great. I know. It's not there fault.... But it's still reflected in the review lol

Looked even better than expected. Very easy to use. I have a 5 foot tree and bark to big, easily cut in half and could use on the bottom two pieces. Tree looks so much better now.
