Was able to install it and work with vehicle but does not fit flush like the oem one. Had to use without o ring just to make it fit.

This is a component of the electronic parking brake system on , many BMWs from 2009 to 2016, with two of these actuators mounted at the top of each rear wheel (location shown in 4th photo) in my 2014 650i. A third component is a central control module, located on the right rear trunk panel near the battery in my model. This system is known to fail in BMWs, which flash messages and codes, but usually fail to tell you the exact source of the problem. Mine made reference to left actuator wire disconnect, so I replaced my old one, shown in photos, with this identical unit. Oh, let me remind you: Order this part from a BMW dealer at a price over $500, or purchase this one for $35? Not a very hard choice, is it? And this comes with a new o-ring, plus two new connecting Torx bolts, which even have a small patch of anti-seize added! In my case, it appears that the electrical fault is in the central module, as the car still gives the brake fault message and code after installation. But it was helpful to rule out the actuator as the source of the problem and have a new unit on the car. Also, installation of this part is pretty easy, only requiring rear tire removal, can be done easily within 30 minutes. Nice to see the availability of such parts on Amazon.
