I really like these. I put 8 of them (they come in a 4 pack) on my trailer which works well for anything I need to load. You need to create a recessed area for the top to set flush. I used a router and took my time. I would definitely buy them again but I don’t I will ever need to, they are very sturdy. When folded down they don’t interfere with loading anything in the trailer.

Rings are not spring loaded. They stay down by means of friction from 2 lock washers on each side of the thru bolt that secures the ring. Supplied hardware is more than adequate and should work on almost any floor.

I like the solid construction of these tie downs. I used a 3-1/4" hole saw and had to open up the hole slightly larger where the pivot bolt is on the bottom. I used an electric die grinder for that which made it easy. Most of the bolt holes on the bottom plates lined up ok, but on a few I had to drill them slightly to get the 3/8" carriage bolts in. All in all I'm pleased and would buy these again.

Works as designed in my enclosed trailer. Extremely low profile on the floor convenient when camping out of my enclosed trailer.

This will be just fine for what I want. I needed to tie down the motorcycle and these were easy to install.

Packing came with everything required for install, appear to be of good quality. Installed with no issues but haven’t had a chance to put them to use yet!
