I'm really surprised how effective these collars are! Bought for my blue heeler and chaweenie. Both have been getting progressively worse at barking at the door, neighbors and going bonkers when we come home. It was so bad we would rush to the door, trying to yell at them to stop as we try to turn the key! So stressful!Since putting these on them yesterday, they have stopped barking! Came home tonight from work and then again after getting dinner, no barking coming from the house! Quiet and stress free entry into the house!It's wonderful!After I put them on yesterday for the first time, not long after, Amazon rang the doorbell... they both ran to the door and barked, but after just 2 barks they both stopped in their tracks, looked around for the weird beep sound, forgot the doorbell and came over to me. They weren't scared or upset, just distracted. I watched them again when my husband came home, same, but only one bark before they both seemed to calm down. Amazing!No amount of yelling, clapping or shooing them would work... one beep and they stop.Our heeler dog had barked through electric collars so I was very sceptical. I wanted something less forceful for our little dog and thought I'd try it out! Definitely recommend it! Price is great too! Easy to put on and adjust. I like that they can be turned off to save battery even i take them off at night.

The first batch I bought didnt work at all. I thought it was just user error so I asked my husband to help and he couldn't figure it out either. I bought new batteries wondering if it was that, and those didnt make it worth either. I submitted a request for return, and amazon sent a new box out automatically (I didnt see this email and didnt know until I got back to my house two months later and my concierge handed me a package). I opened the new set, and was pretty excited but those two didnt work either. I followed all the instructions etc, but they didnt work. Fast forward like 9 months later and I noticed I was charged for both sets, and I was like okay.. let me try these again since I paid $70 for them. One of the 4 I have finally turned on, the kicker? It died three hours later. Okay fine, I'll put in another battery. Dies again three hours later. These aren't common batteries y'all. This piece of poo product cost me almost $100 and a heck of a headache. Dont get it. Its uselesssssss!

For about the first week, this worked like a charm. But the "barking" filter is nonexistent, and it'll beep at my dogs just for playing with a squeaky toy - or even snoring!! I feel awful putting this on my boys now, since it tries to punish/bother them for nothing. On top of that, it's been running through batteries quickly even though we've only been using it for little over a month. The collar doesn't show a red light, just turns off randomly and won't stay on. I've had to replace the battery every few days which is ridiculous. Honestly better to just bite the bullet and buy a better collar than to keep blowing money on batteries. There's also no clear guide as to what the sensitivity levels are, so that's also a useless feature.

Previously I left a negative review and have since realized it was likely user error. These have worked well once charged for a long period of time. Additionally, these have worked well as stage two of anti bark process. I started with a more expensive device that actually gave a shock. Once my dogs stopped barking at fence with the shock type collar I started using this one.

Overall I am amazed and thrilled that this bark collar stopped my dog’s barking almost instantly. With consistency and praise, Chico soon became the dog of my dreams. The only issue that I ran into was that because it is so sensitive, the barking of a nearby dog can set off his collar. The collar is also cheaply made so that it continuously gets loose so I had to tape it. The battery only lasts a week with on and off daytime use but you can get them pretty cheap on line. Sometimes it doesn’t blink to warn you that it’s dying so your dog can be wearing it while it’s not working and you wouldn’t know it until you realize that he’s barking too much. Lol …… but the end result is fantastic. It’s amazing that sound and vibration can deter him from barking. He never even makes it to the vibration. The sound alone is enough to remind him. I would highly recommend this collar. Plus you get two in a pack!

I was excited to find this option for my very loud dogs. The reviews gave me hope. They are easy to use and the sound definitely works to curb barking.The batteries that come with it are not great but I found a stronger brand in bulk on Amazon (that also work for other things we have) so I was happy. After about a week we realized our lab was barking as though the collar did not exist. Looked at it and it was off. Changed the battery, turned it on..about an hour later, barking again. It was off again! We were having to turn it on multiple times a day because even with fresh batteries it just shuts off when it feels like it. Returned the first set thinking it was a defect. The new set came, SAME THING! The product idea is solid and does it's job. I just wish it had stayed working. It is almost as if there is just enough play inside to shake the battery loose of the connection.

Okay these collars are AMAZING. They beep at increasing levels, but not to a level that makes your ears bleed, and they vibrate once they hit the highest beep level, which is much much much better than the "gentle static shocks" of other collars, which is just a nice way to say it electrocutes your dog, but on a lower level.I have a 130lb St Bernard Pyrenese and 90lb Golden Pit, and they bark like mad, but these collars work so well that it's gotten to a point where they don't even need to wear them; I just beep it when they bark and they stop.Bravo to a safe, kind, and excellent products that works without the cruelty!
