Good looking product! Came with instructions, Allen wrench, stainless steel screws and, a little chip that tells you when it is fully charged or, discharged! Others don't have that. Seems like a sold Cap!

Easy to set up and comes with a small circuit board for charging and discharging. It comes assembled with the brackets and screws to mount it.I really like Recoil as a brand and have 2 different amps which is why I purchased this capacitor, it matches my amps. Surprisingly my car seems to start better now too.

My lights still dim whenever the bass hits. I'm running a JL Audio JD1000. I cant tell any difference at all.

this capacitor fit my amp rack and matches the colors of my interior perfect. I can't compare a before and after the capacitor, but it looks to be high quality and my system gets LOUD and still sounds clean. I am happy with the purchase and will buy again if I build another system.

I received the product 1 day earlier than expected. When it was shipped one of the holder brackets got cracked, but other than that it was easy to install and it works pretty well. Definitely recommended, but point of advice is to add bit more package protection.

Ran this for less than 15 minutes and it died. Switched back to my old Phoenix Gold capacitor and had no issues. Recoil products are low quality, dont waste your time.

Works well ez to install only thing don’t expect your lights to stop flickering you will most likely need to upgrade battery and alternator

I bought this 2 farad capacitor after buying a 1 farad capacitor from the same company. The one farad capacitor actually measured 0.4f, so I bought the 2 farad capacitor hoping it would be 2f but I had a feeling it would 1f which is what I actually wanted. Well, I was correct, the 2f cap is actually slightly more then 1f. Both capacitors are roughly half of what they are supposed to be.I measured the time to discharge from 100% to 36.8%. 100%= 12.0 volts, 36.8%=4.42 volts T= RC is the general time constant formula, R=100 Ohms, T=106 sec. To solve for C , C=T/R, you get 1.06=106/100. That's 1.06 farad from a 2f capacitor. I measured the value of the 100 ohms resistor and it's well within it's 5% spec.This seems a little suspicious that two capacitors of different values from the same company are roughly half their advertised value. I know electrolytic capacitors generally have a wide tolerance but 50% low is pretty bad especially when both are low. They probably think nobody knows how to measure capacitors so they got creative with their specs.Dear Amazon: You don't need to refund me for this capacitor, I wanted a 1f cap and that's what I got with a 2f cap, both the 1f and the 2f caps are the same dimensions and weight so not a problem, I simply replaced the 1f with the 2f. I'm just pointing out that this company is pretty creative with their specs.
