People like to call this stuff a recoil starter or similar. Watch a couple YouTube videos. For my MTD snowblower w/ Tecumseh motor it was just four bolts out, mount the new one, four bolts back in, start the blowblower minutes before the next storm.Amazon said Next Day and, sure enough, 10:30PM the following night it was delivered (the dog was particularly pleased).Good purchase. No need to re-tension the spring or rewind the cord. 15 minutes and your back to cursing the artistry of the north wind and pledging to mount a road trip to Puxatawney with evil intent.

Wow! This is exactly the same recoil my snow thrower had on it! I carefully removed the sticker from the old one and put it on the new part! Fantastic! Old and new! I transferred the sticker too!
