The water pump in my 2021 Keystone Bullet Premier was having issues. It was incredibly loud and the bypass valve had failed. It was letting water from the city water hookup pass through the pump and was filling up my fresh water tank. Rather than take my trailer to the dealer and have them keep it for weeks or months on a wait list to troubleshoot and fix it, I decided to replace the pump myself and read reviews on this model. I purchased a replacement elbow and a screen filter to go with the pump. The factory pump did not have a filter and I later found after taking my old pump apart that plastic bits were lodged into the pump bypass valve preventing it from closing all the way.Swapping my old pump out for this new one was simple and straightforward. Any handy DIY’er should be able to handle it.I was amazed at how QUIET this pump was compared to the one that was installed at the factory. It even brings the pressure up noticeably quicker and seems to have better water pressure. I’m so glad I chose this pump and decided to change out my factory pump myself. No regrets!!Note: I could have cleared the plastic bits from the bypass valve in the old pump and put it back in my trailer. But I feel this new pump is an upgrade to the one installed by Keystone.

This was purchased as an exact replacement part for the water pump in my 2020 XLR Nitro 351 Toy Hauler. The original pump went out over the winter but now that it has been replaced, I believe there was an issue with it from the very beginning. The camper is still under warranty through Forest River but with the low cost of the replacement part, I didn't think it was worth my time or trouble to schedule a service visit and have to take the camper to the dealer for them to take who knows how long to fix a simple water pump issue. Water pressure is great and with the rubber bushings on the feet, the pump is not too loud. Very easy installation as it was a direct replacement for the original part.

I purchased the same model as what came in my RV 5 years ago, for ease in installation. If you do this, you'll likely only have one wire to re-terminate / crimp, making things really easy.The new one *was* quieter than my old one. I now can use the old one as an external pump for getting water into the trailer from outside, use as an emergency backup, etc. Figured that was worth spending the extra $20 for a whole new pump, vs. paying ~ $50-$60 for two different repair kits for the 4008 (which have had the internals revised, anyway).The repair kits should be priced a bit cheaper, tbh, as I'm guessing more people will replace the pump, vs. the time / cost of repairing the old one. But, hey -- now I have a backup pump!

So I bought this year's ago and carried it in my camper waiting for the day my pump died. At 1am it finally decided to go. 15 minutes later I was back in business. Direct replacement for original pump. Quieter than original with more pressure.

I purchased this item as a spare because of ongoing issues with my travel trailer water pressure. The cause of the water pressure was found to be sediment/scale from water heater clogging faucets and aerators, and loose water connections. A water heater flush was performed (no anode for this model water heater). The box was found torn/ripped during unpacking.
