It's a pretty sturdy bin with metal rods to make the sides rigid and a nice bamboo lip at the top to keep it even and open. The two bags are a nice touch so you can wash one without being without a recycling bin. Personally, I put it in my office, so I split the bin in two and put a trash bag on one side and one of the recycling bags on the other, and there's plenty of space in there for both of them, which has made dealing with the trash/recycling in this area of the house much less of a chore. I do wish the lid had more of a grab handle on it as the small tab is difficult to grab if you you're holding something and need to open the lid--not so much a problem if you're using it just for bottles since it has the bottle opening but might be a small issue if you're putting other recyclables in.Make sure to check the directions for how to insert the rods in the sides of the bin, it's not difficult to do using the straps but near impossible without using them.

This item is a somewhat less expensive, visually attractive solution to in-home recycling storage. I use it as a "staging area" before dumping a load of recyclables into my outdoor bin. Works fine. It's also nice that the inner "bag" is washable. I haven't had to wash mine yet, so I can't comment on how they hold up after washing. But to me, that was an added benefit assuming it holds up.So, here is the reason for the 4 star review: it can be really hard to assemble. It's easier with two people but we ended up having to return to the instruction sheet a few times to figure out why things weren't snapping together. It's a chore.Would I buy this again? Probably. But I'm giving this item 4 stars because of the difficult assembly issues.

I ordered this efluky Recycling Bin 100L, 26 Gallon Recycle Bins for Kitchen to hold recycleable bottles and cans. Our housekeeper always takes our recyclables to a recyling center as a "perk" of her job. Unfortunately, we've not really had a good place to keep them stored. This recyling bin is absolutely perfect for us. Most bottles/cans can just be dropped through the self-sealing opening at the top. Anything too large to fit through the opening can be put into the bin by lifting the top. Inside of the bin is a reusable and washable bag with handles. Once it is full, the entire inner bag comes out for transport. The bin comes with two bags, so while one bag is on its way to the recycling center, the second bag can be inserted into the bin. There is a handy pocket on the outside of the bin that can be used to hold the extra bag when it is not being used.No matter how careful you are at cleaning items before dropping them into a recycle bin, there is always some sort of leakage that soils the bin. Thanks to the bags that fit inside, this is not a major issue. The bin itself stays clean, and any dirt/gunk that ends up on the inner bag will be taken care of it you just pop the bag into the washing machine.I was somewhat skeptical when I opened this up, as my experience with things that are held together with metal rods has been checkered at best. The metal rods that keep this bin upright appear to be more than sturdy enough to get the job done. They are held in place by some velcro tabs at the top of the bin. While this is not a particularly inexpensive item, it does work exceptionally well. At the time that this review was written, after a 20% coupon, it is priced at about $24.

The half circle shape of this recycling bin for kitchens is what enticed me to order it.I don't have a lot of space to put a recycling bin in the kitchen, but there's a small space in an entryway from the garage to the kitchen. It's a tight squeeze, but this bin fits well in that space. However, I have dogs that use that corridor. This bin is tall compared to its width. It isn't very heavy. It's easy to be bumped and moved by a 70 pound dog. If it doesn't have anything in it but empty plastic bottles, the weight in the bottom versus its tall stature makes it easy to be displaced. It shouldn't be so hard to assemble such a simple object, but I struggled. Sometimes I get the idea that the best engineering that goes into a product is how to ship it in the smallest package possible - regardless of how that affects both the consumer's experience assembling it and the longevity and ease of use. Those sentiments can be applied to this product. For half the price I could have gone to my local retailer and purchased a similarly sized, solidly build bin with a detachable, flip top lid and 40 bags with draw string tops, none of which required assembly using metal rods that barely fit.I'm not a fan of this product.
