Pros:sturdy head with everything fitting snugglyEasy to clean (latex: spin in water - oil: spin in mineral spirits then wipe down)It’s plastic so it will never oxidize. a hard plastic that is prob even suited for small batches of compound/grout or mortarDue to the head shape it has a very powerful mixing/centrifugal motion. I use it forward & backwards to fully mix everything. I found for 1-3 gallon it was my fav so far. Faster then other I’ve tried. You can slam the bottom w/o any worry of damaging the can.Cons: plastic does give a bit of skepticism about longevity though it seems like it could be a reinforced polymer extended that life cycle drastically. (I actually left it I n mineral spirits for a couple days & it was perfectly fine when taken out)I personally prefer no mixing shaft less then 24†for convenience shake so this being less then that is a not my optimal length for total comfort & ease of use. I like to hold whatever I’m mixing with my feet which is still possible but if it was 24†it would be more convenient while using. You can obviously put the can on a table/stair to remedy part of that issue.I think it’s a little much in price. I buy metal mixers for around $5 & big mud mixers for around $10-15 generally. Though I might be nitpicking lol. If I lost it tomm and needed to mix anything in the quart to 3 gallon range, I would purchase it again! Even at the original price!

The product works as it's intended to. I use it frequently when I need to paint a room in the house or do a project that involves painting. I also used it in one gallon containers as well and it work quite well if you use the drill in low power without any issues. Just have to rinse as soon as possible after mixing your paint. I usually have a bucket full of soapy water to rinse during applications. With some paints I usually have to constantly mix especially the thicker paint that's already a primer ready and paint mix. It helps to mix properly to cover other paints.👠thumbs up if this helps 👠I'll have to remember to get pictures next time.

This little product will legit save you so much money and frustration! Simple put it in any powered drill and mix your old paint and within a minute or so, it's like brand new. I had some VERY old paint that I was trying to revive because I needed to do some touch ups in a room before we sell our house. I found the old bucket in our basement, but when opening it up, it was absolutely hard sludge on the bottom and nearly clear water on the top. Using a wooden paint stirrer wouldn't have cut it even if I did have 12 hours to stir it over and over leading to my arm falling off. So I used this and it literally blended the paint back into the same consistency and color it was the day I bought it over 8 years ago. So this made it so I didn't have to go buy new paint and even worse, try to match the current paint in the room with one of the "newer paint samples" which almost always lead to the color being off. I ended up using this for about 5 more buckets of paint over the last few months and the exact same outcome - like new paint. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone.

I just painted our front porch using a gallon of paint left over from a house painting years ago. When I opened the can and saw nothing but shades of green / yuck, I thought this stuff is beyond coming back to life. But as the instructions for the mixer said, I started at the bottom on low speed and gradually increased speed. Things started to look a little better as I slowly raised and lowered the mixer, then it started looking like the tan it should be. I could even bring it partially out of the paint as I mixed at the top and nothing was thrown from the mixer, it just did its job. Very happy with its performance and saved me a trip to the hardware store to have the paint shaken.

I was painting my garage and knew I needed a lot of paint, so I started with a 5 gallon bucket. Never having tried to stir 5 gallons before, I did a little research and this item was highly rated - now I know why. The hardest thing about using it was getting the plastic end off so I could plug it into my drill to use. I banged the plastic end a few times, and used a thin screwdriver to pop it off - not that hard. It worked great to stir the bucket of paint, then after using a paint brush to get the excess off, I dropped it in a can of hot water to clean it off later. Easy! Good purchase.

Worked great. Start slow, especially if the can use 3/4 full or more. Mixes great and was super easy to clean. Needed an old toothbrush or paper towels to get the small areas but most paint just rinsed with warm water.I’d buy again but doubt I’d ever have too.

Was looking for something simply to mix homemade laundry detergent and saw that someone else bought this for the same thing. It does work very well for that. It has to sit for 24 hours after you first make the stuff and then it becomes a fairly heavy gelatinous blob. I make a big batch and stirring the stuff was just more than I could handle after trying egg beaters, spoons taped to my power drill, etc. This takes care of it. I may even use to mix paint some day.
