This pattern was so much fun and the result is stunning! I've now done one Toni Whitney kit and one pattern. I prefer the pattern so I can pick out my own fabrics. I wish she had more patterns to choose from!

First let me say the pattern itself is very well done. It gives step by step instructions, a color hue strip for shopping, and is well organized. No complaints there. However this is not for beginners. I have sewn for many many years and done all types of crafts as well. I spent way too much on supplies for this...all were helpful but a lot of money. Unless you buy a kit with the fabric you will not get the same exact look. If I could do it over again I would buy a nice framed fox print somewhere. Since I can't then maybe these tips will help someone else. Mark every single piece and organize it. Buy everything before you start. I did not like the part where you peel the whiskers and ears back and attach the borders because it lost some of the adhesive factor and some of the fine edges frayed. If I ever did it again I would have created a background and then laid the fox on top and adhered it that way. I ended up not quilting it as directed but just sewed around all the edges with just the backing. I was afraid the pressure of quilting through multiple layers would distort the image and I am sure now it would have. The art is stunning but way too much work for me to enjoy it. I did learn a lot from doing it.

I have not made this yet but the instructions are plan and simple can't wait to make it as soon as I finish about 5 other quilts in front of it :)

This artist is amazing. I’ve used so many of her patterns, they are so well written and detail oriented. Highly recommend her patterns.
