In a 5 gallon pail of water ad splash of bleach let set min 2-3 hrs min then pump the five gallons through the hose. after that absolutely no smell !!

I was able to rehose my kegerator setup for 5 kegs and still have tubing left over. I will purchase again if I decide to expand.

Used them in my home draft system. They do the job. But did do a lot of off gassing.

Do not use the hose clamps that come with it. I thought it was nice they were included, but they would not tighten properly and caused leaks. Luckily I leak checked and replaced them all. The tubing is good value for the price.

It seems there is inconsistency with this product, some people report no smell from plastic off-gassing, and some say it's very strong....I fall into the second group, this stuff is very, very smelly. Even after reading the reviews I took a chance, since some folks have said the smell can be reduced or eliminated by soaking in various solutions.I tried soaking the tubing in a pretty strong vinegar/water solution overnight, then PBW overnight, then rinsed it thoroughly and let it dry for a couple more days...the smell may be slightly lessened now, but still quite strong. No way I will take a chance of pumping this into my kegs and ruining batches of beer! I would have returned it but I already cut it to lengths for my manifold before soaking (and to make sure I could get the soak solution into every length of the tubing,Anyway, if you want to take a chance, maybe you'll be able to get rid of the *poison smell*, but I could not. Threw it in the trash and bought some locally that I could smell before buying! lol
