Great for crochet, but I needed thread for tatting. If my eyes were better I would tat with this, but alas, cataracts happen and I need to use a slightly heavier thread for the laces that I want to make. I will crochet lace with this, and get a thicker thread for tatting. This slides smoothly over my fingers when using. This is important for old hands. I like the sheen of this thread on my finished projects. I made a tiny doily to see how it would look, and I'm very happy with it. I will update this review when I have dyed something, but I have no doubt that it will accept and hold color well.

This thread is perfect! Nicely packaged, came quickly, wonderful quality. This brand is my favorite to tat with. I really wish they had more colors in size 20, though. Tatting with this and a size 7 needle worked perfectly. Might try size 30 thread and size 8 needle eventually too.
