Very sturdy and the cost is much lower than the brand name breaker. The higher cost one only has a different name on them, but they are the very same one.

I originally purchased this breaker (advertised as "300 amp rated") for an off-grid solar system, to manage my 1200AH 12v battery connection. It constantly pops at ~80 amps. I finally realized the culprit, and even found many other reviews sharing similar disappointment with your brand, and purchased a much more robustly built BUSS / Blue Sea unit.Observe in the picture I provided, how much larger the legit 200A Buss (yellow and black) is compared to the tiny Red Wolf "300A" (red & black) mounted side by side. The Buss is easily triple the weight, and tests closely to its rating. When treated and used as a 75A breaker, this RedWolf does a good job, and I've repurposed it to handle my 48v solar input circuit instead, although it serves more as a cuttoff switch now, to be honest, which I'm fine with.Skip this '300' marked breaker altogether, as the falsely 4x inflated rating turns an otherwise seemingly competent breaker into a big problem with code. The BlueSea/Buss is triple the cost, but WELL worth the safety, not to mention they're a reputable company with marine grade quality products!

Installed this in my trailer for my 3000 watt inverter with 3 each 100 amp lithium batteries. Thought it would be nice to have a switch and breaker together but the switch/fuse weren’t able to handle the amps. After talking to their Customer Service they were very helpful and refunded my money. Even though the fuse didn’t work, it was a pleasure to work with their customer service.

this consistently tripped around 120 A, not the 300 A it was rated for, despite being labeled 300 A on the device.

I installed this in my camper in line prior to my 2000W inverter wired with 2/0 welding cables. Power is supplied from a bank of 4 12V 100 Ah lithium batteries connected to a common buss bar. With only the microwave running the inverter controller showed an amp draw of 122A. This breaker tripped after 1.5 minutes and the connections on the breaker were very warm. The wiring studs are only M6 with a very small footprint under them, not nearly as big as the 2/0 ring connectors which barely fit in the space provided.
