I attached these atop my 12V lithium batteries in my RV for safety - they work awesome and prevent safety issues. It's also nice to be able to turn them off when I am connecting or disconnecting the batteries so that we don't get accidental spark or crossover with Negative wires. I bought 3 total.

Using this for second battery isolation. Functions as it should but comes with wood screws for install which were of no use to me.

I've used these style breakers for a couple different DC/Solar van set-ups. It’s nice to have a switch style to be able to turn on/off different circuits in the system. One of the systems in a van has four of these in different amperages for various sections of the system. The solar and charge controller is turned on during the day and off at night.This specific 30A breaker is used for the breaker/disconnect to the solar panels on the roof.These breakers work well and double as an active on/off switch if they can be located in convenient areas of the DC system build. I’ll be using these for an upcoming build for a small, mobile solar DC system with a high wattage AC inverter.For best practice, these breakers should be used in a DC system as close to the batteries as possible with the correct size cables for the intended load.
