Went to put in my radio and of course the wire harness does not fit. Have a '08 Jeep Patriot 2.4 manual. And the connector that I was sent does not match. Even after going back and confirming in the description that it does say that it will fit this year model. I'd say verify your socket before you order, don't go off the description.

Works great….. except I had to wire the accessory and illumination wires to a cigarette port in order for the radio to actually turn on….

Yes, it warns us in the description, but for Pete's sake! The factory harness PROVIDES keyed 12v on to the factory radio! WHY can't that be used for the after market radio??????The whole point of buying a conversion adapter kit such as this is to NOT cut into the factory wiring harness ANYWHERE! On the Dodge Charger/Challenger/Chrysler 300, the fuse box and battery is in the TRUNK, not easily accessible to run aftermarket wiring!The 10 minute job of replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket head unit is now a several hour long fiasco, and all of the materials bought to streamline the process are rendered pointless.To the parts themselves, they are well made and provide a good value. I assume for other non-Mopar brand applications, they work beautifully and as intended.
