This Mattress is designed to go on a cot that provides first level padding. It makes the camp cot more comfortable by far. It is not made for sleeping on the ground. It is not firm enough for ground sleeping. If you want a cot mattress it is a good buy.

I used this as a topper to a portable 3 inch memory foam role up camping mat. It was perfect for the extra cushion I was looking for. I wouldn’t recommend sleeping on this alone.

The batting material for this pad is pretty light and fluffy. It's good when considering packing weight, but when you go to use it, there's just not much there to cushion pressure points. If I had known that it wouldn't be any better than folding up a blanket under me, I'd have probably saved the $50 that I spent on it.

I used to have an old military style cot topper which was about 3" thick. The pictures for this product reminded me of that topper. This thing however is nowhere near the thickness and cushion of that old topper. It's probably 1/4" thick at best. It basically seems like the fill of a blanket. False advertising!

This sleeping pad is exquisite in every way imaginable.It is compact & folds nicely to fit on a flat, narrow shelf beneath a wonderful sitting bench without losing its shape.Of course, I am NOT using it alone, but place an inflatable pad below it & a clean bed sheet folded lengthwise in half over the top, so as not to ruin its velvety soft sheen w/ body oils.

Very soft and very comfortable but not for $50. A good price for this item would be $20. Great for bench style seating.

I bought this for my Husband because he has a habit of falling asleep on the floor in front of our wood stove -- he looks so uncomfortable!I was searching for a 'floor lounge pillow' but they are all ridiculously overpriced -- like $70-$200 bucks! This is literally the same thing, but called something different. It's not a super cushy memory foam mattress or anything, but it totally does the job of making the floor a little cozier for a nap or a movie. And then it's easily rolled up and out of the way.

The product itself is nice and well made, very velvety soft to the touch . It just didn’t have enough thickness for what I was wanting. I bought a camping cot from the same company and this pad and still had to put 3 blankets on top of it...and it was still so uncomfortable. I sent it back (and the cot).
