I NEVER write reviews, well not never, I'll only take the time to do so if the item is worth my time. We all know time is our most precious commodity, so clearly the item is pretty darn good. Of all the items I buy I can't help but laugh that a dustpan has broken me to the level of reviewing it lol BUT Oh, my god, Batman, this is the best dustpan I've ever had! Best dustpan I've ever used! I love tools, especially Toulze that you know you can keep free your entire life because they're that well made. This dustpan falls into that category. The size and shape make it quite unique as far as dustpans go, but it's brilliant! The scooped shape allows more to stay in and because of it when you sweep a ton of debris into it you don't need to worry about it falling back out. The curve of it is like a spoon in a way. The sides also fold up keeping debris inside. But the most mind blowing feature is by far the fact that regardless of how fine the dust might be it doesn't leave behind the thin line of stuff that just won't sweep in! If first I was skeptical that this was actually a feature. I thought maybe I just got lucky but after continued use, it really is a thing! I couldn't believe it! I was looking for something larger than the standard Dpans and almost went with one of the bigger ones that are common to construction sites, I'm sooooo glad I didn't! Unlike those, which can get heavy and awkward, this one holds just about as much but is lightweight and way more comfortable than and secure. I did need to spend a few minutes trying to justify the price. Now I understand. It was worth every penny! The only thing I could take a point off for was that the handle felt a little rough to the touch. I won't take away any points, though, because after a quick sand and layer of wax it's as smooth, soft and beautiful as that type of wood should be! After that small adjustment I was, am and will continue to be absolutely in love w a dustpan! If you are a tool person or enjoy projects of any sort, treat yourself! You'll find yourself leaving a love letter on Amazon to a dustpan too!!!

This tool does its job perfectly, and is very solidly made. It is designed to sit flat on the floor with its handle available at an easy reach, which makes it fit perfectly under the side edge of our wood stove. A good purchase!

I love the look and feel of this dustpan. However, the first one I received arrived with scratches and nicks in it. I sent it back, and the second one also has some scratches. Not as many as the first, but they are there. I think this is an issue with packaging and storage. Since they are metal and not individually wrapped (they’re shipped in just a plastic bag with no protective packaging), I think the dustpans are coming into contact with other dustpans and causing damage. Anyway, they are now not available on Amazon, so I can’t exchange for a new one. I love the design so much that I really do not want to return it without getting another one.Anyway, the nicks and scratches may not bother everyone, but I have a hard time overlooking them. Great product though, and great brand. I have a lot of Redecker products that I hope will last a very long time.4 stars because of the surface damage and poor packaging. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars all the way.

The most common type of stainless used for this application is 300 series. 300 series is non-magnetic, yetthis shovel is magnetic. My guess is that this is actually chrome-plated plain steel. I've run into this many times. The Chinese especially when they market products don't seem to distinguish between the two. Yet the description claims this was made in Germany. If so, it's the cheapest German product I've ever seen. You be the judge. The thickness of the steel used, by my caliper, is 0.0315 inches, which is kind of flimsy, but sufficient for MY use, which is as an ash shovel.UPDATE: The handle was angled too much for easy use in my wood stove, so I simply bent the handle relative to the shovel head to flatten it out more. It was simple to do and still looks fine.

Very much wanted to love Redecker products. Made in Germany. A complete absence of plastic. Everything consists of a natural material. Sadly none of that matters because this thing doesn’t work. The rubber lip is curved so it doesn’t catch dust. The lip is also not seamed together properly so it really won’t collect dust. The photos look like I’m tilting the pan. I’m not. It actually looks like this. I gently tried bending it so it will flatten. Nope. Unacceptable craftsmanship.

I'm a big dork about these Redecker products that I can't really afford. They show actual craftsmanship and intelligence about their products and I love that so many are good to the environment. This pan is no exception. Pretty enough that I don't stash it far away, functional enough that it will be useful in many situations, well made so I know it will be hanging in my kitchen for a long time to come.

Nachdem die Kehrschaufel von meiner Mutter den Geist (nach 40 Jahren) aufgegeben hat, habe ich ihr diese bestellt. Form und Stiehl (Stiehl ist nicht zu kurz, praktischer) sehr gut im Einsatz, sieht optisch auch sehr schön aus. Kann ich bestens empfehlen.

Eigentlich ist die Kehrschaufel für die Ewigkeit gebaut und optisch wie haptisch von guter Qualität.Leider löste sich hier nach knapp zwei Jahren die Gummilippe.Offenbar handelt es sich dabei um ein Dauerproblem, denn nun hat der Anbieter eine Abbildung ohne die Gummilippe eingestellt, während diese in der Produktbeschreibung noch immer genannt wird.Ohne diesen Gummiabschluss ist die Schaufel aber weitestgehend unbrauchbar, da die Metallstärke der nunmehr „nackten“ Kante viel zu dick ist, um feineren Schmutz aufzunehmen.Empfindliche Parkett- Stein- oder Marmor dürften zudem schnell verkratzen.Auf der aktuellen Abbildung kann man in der Vergrößerung vorne deutlich die kleinen Knubbel erkennen, an denen die Gummilippe in der ursprünglichen Konzeption befestigt war.Der Hersteller sollte das Produkt dringend überarbeiten.In dieser Form kann ich es jedenfalls nicht weiterempfehlen.

I am slowly replacing my cleaning tools with ones from Redecker so bought this with the matching hand brush (sold separately). This dustpan is excellent, it is made of stainless steel, is very well made and is robust and sturdy. It is more expensive than the average high street dustpan but it is worth it and I think this will last me my whole life. It is so beautiful that I make an effort to clean it and make it shine after every use.

Na das ist mal ein Kehrblech, wie man es vor Ort leider nicht zu kaufen bekommt. Wertig, perfekte Verarbeitung, gutes Handling. Das dürfte länger als der Baumarktkrams halten, der nach knapp 2 Jahren unter dem Schaft schlicht abknickte.
