Ideal for cleaning your most valued brushes, the Bürstenhaus Redecker Stainless Steel Metal Comb is perfectly suited for cleaning goat and horse hair items. While your animal hair products may hold on to dirt over time, this comb is just the tool to clean them and make them like new. The comb measures 7-1/8-inches long.
The handle of the comb is made of varnished wood and complemented by the stainless steel teeth. For maintenance, it is recommended to clean with a mild soap and warm water solution. Hang to air dry with bristles facing down to prevent damage to wooden handle.

I bought this comb 40 years ago in my local hardware to groom our Cocker Spaniels, it was the same comb used by our vet. For the same number of years it seemed sensible to use to finish our newly washed Redecker brushes, little did I know that is it’s real purpose. Love it because the tines are rounded at the ends, the handle is varnished and just wide enough for a comfortable grip, and it’s stainless steel. 40 years of tangled and wet hair this is no worse for the wear. Dogs and goat/horsehair brushes are happy!

I bought this to clean my horse hair brushes, but instead of cleaning it, it actually pulled the horse hair out in clumps. I think the tines are way too close to each other to be effective.

Ich reinige damit meinen Besen vom gleichen Hersteller, Handfeger, Staubsaugerbürsten, Schrubber, Staubwedel - der Kamm ist stabil und tut genau, was er soll. Kann ich jedem empfehlen, der keine Lust auf verfilzte, dreckige Besen hat.
