First impressions: just received and I am happy with the quality of the leather and construction. The gloves offer good insulation from the cold. Are they touchscreen? Let’s see. Yup: thumb and forefinger work. The color is your basic black and they aren’t so bulky as to belong with a space suit: still fashionable. I mentioned the softness as compared with a certain creamy, yellow dairy product. Size: my hands are 8.5” at their longest and 4.5 inches around, squarely between large and extra large: I prefer snug fitting gloves, and to let them stretch to fit me a little bit over time, so large was the correct choice. Tight but not too tight.Obviously not work gloves, these would wear out in a couple hours of stone work, but seem like they could last years for regular non-sport/work wear.If possible, I’ll update after a few months with an update…if it’s sooner, that won’t be a good sign!I recommend and look forward to wearing.

I ordered these gloves for my husband and he is very pleased with the quality and the fit. He has large hands and the XL fit him nicely.

Very nice gloves but L is too tight across palm and XL has finger length too long. Warm and comfortable.

These gloves are very nice. They look good and they keep my hands warm. The problem is I ordered large but they are still too tight. If you buy them order one size larger than you think you need. For me once they are on they are fined but getting them on was a chore.Richard

Gloves are excellent. Soft butter leather. Greet driving gloves as well.

Edit: I returned the defective gloves and got a free replacement and so far they’ve been great so changing the review to 5 stars.Old review: 1 starLeather ripped in less than 1 week. I got these gloves on February 2nd and on February 9th I noticed a tear in the leather (of maybe stitching). The gloves were great until this, and maybe this was a bad pair, but this is unacceptable.

The gloves are snug to pull on but they are too long for my fingers and thumbs. I otherwise like the material and construction.

I've been looking for a pair of driving gloves because although my steering wheel is heated, my wife's car, which we take to church on Sundays, is not. But, I was hesitant to buy these because they're less than $20 and I thought the quality might be substandard. I'm pleased to report that they compare favorably with gloves I have that cost four times that much. The leather is supple and luxurious, the stitching is solid, and although they're light, the Thinsulate lining keeps your hands warm while driving. I also liked the simple snap, which I don't always use, but it's nice to keep them snug if you so desire. But, as others noted, the sizes run small. I normally take a Large, but followed their advice and went with an Extra-Large, which resulted in a perfect fit.So, if you're looking for a comfortable, well-made pair of gloves that's very reasonably priced, you'll be quite pleased with these.I wasn't familiar with the company, Reed, but liked the fact that they've been in business since 1950. I will look to them again for leather products when the need arises.

Exceptionally warm and well worth the purchase price. Only drawback is the length of time from order to delivery. They took a few weeks to get here.

I first purchased an extra large in brown as that was what was available. They came and were quite tight in the knuckle area and my knuckles would crack if I made a fist. The length of the fingers was perfect. There was also some stitching coming loose between the fingers so I returned the and bought a black in XXL.. The black pair seems tighter at the fat part of my hand and the finger width was ever so slightly wider than the xl size.. The part that was noticibly bigger was the finger length.. Half of the fingers are 1/2-3/4 inches too long.. The right gloves index finger is almost as long as the middle finger.. The quality of leather is quite good. I really don't want to return another pair and wait yet again for delivery
