This table stiffeners came just as described, and provide excellent support underneath adjoining shelf boards so they do not sag. The pair of stiffeners were significantly cheaper than others for sale on different websites (like tablelegs.com) but are well designed and strong, so that the wide shelves I put them under will not sag even under heavy loads. Definitely worth the price.

A bit more expensive than going to a big box hardware store, but not completely egregious for the convenience. Does the job well enough and though it might appear thin it adds a lot of strength because of its shape.Note that it has been quite unclear how many stiffeners to expect per order with differing experiences in reviews. I personally ordered 2 and received 2 (1 stiffener per order).Used it to strengthen a countertop span that I've added legs to and am using as a long office desk.

Recently built an ikea desk, and was worried about the sagging since I got a 78†table top. It does have a leg in the middle of it, but I wanted this for extra security. Can confirm no sagging (two monitors, desktop, and laptop), definitely recommend.

It is quite confusing, as some received two bars per an order and the other got just one. Some of the pictures shows two bars though. I ordered two because I may receive just one bar. I got the bars today and there were just two bars in the box. It is a bit disappointing because then the price is quite stiff. The bar itself is fine. I installed and it seems okay. Screws and end caps are included.

I purchased two of these since other reviews and an answered question states only 1 stiffener is included. My order arrived weeks late and I don't believe this will show as a verified purchase review since my order still shows pending.I opened the package when I got home and found 4 stiffeners (3 shown in picture since 1 was already installed). This leads me to believe that you actually get 2 per order. I installed them with no hassle and would recommend them. It would be nice for the description to be updated to specify the actual quantity received.

Only came with one though the pictures depict two. Only once does it say that only one bar is included. After reading reviews it seems other have gotten one, some have gotten two. What’s really puzzling is I got two sets of screws and end caps for only one bar indicating there should have been two bars

Used 2 to solidify a 7 foot long oak bar height table that was an inch thick.They work very well, tabletop does not flex in the middle anymore and I used a can of black spray paint to match the rest of the table.
