These shelves are very sturdy and easy to assemble. Caution, the shelves are steel and the package is heavy. The black finish seems to be very durable and the pieces are very easy to assemble. There are no screws in assembly. All parts and some spares are included. The pieces fit together with slots and a pressure fit that is accomplished using the padded hammer included in the package. I have bought seven or eight shelves and find them fun to assemble. Once assembled they are very sturdy and useful. They should never warp or wear out. Not sure, but they might rust in a damp environment, but the coating seems very protective. I’m very happy with them. They are very well packaged and are easy enough to disassemble if ever needed. I don’t plan to disassemble, as they are as permanent as you want. Great value.

In comparison to big box store shelving, it's of good quality. Very sturdy and stable. Came with extra pieces. Fit very well together. Had a nice pop fit. No slack in the racks between the rails and has held up quite a bit of weight in my shop. Would like to get another one just cuz the quality was so good. The plastic bumpers on the bottom and top make it nice for not sinking into any type of flooring or having sharp edges on the top rail. Great storage capacity. The shelves are adjustable so some shelves can be further apart than others or closer good quality would recommend

These are heavy duty shelves we purchased for the basement. Easy to put together and separate if needed. I am going to order more for our basement and garage again. Good space and depth for storage bins.

Assembly: I ordered a set of three. The first unit took a little longer to lay out the pieces and read the directions, but after putting the first one together, the second two shelving units were a breeze to put together. There are no nuts and bolts to worry about. All the pieces lock into place using a mallet that is provided. Props to the company for providing the small mallet and gloves for your hands.Appearance: I love that this comes in yellow instead of the typical black or silver. The yellow color provides a nice splash of color in the otherwise dark garage.Quality: The shelves seem pretty sturdy, and don’t seem like they will start to bend or warp like cheaper plastic shelves. They are taller so I am able to maximize the storage space up the wall.Overall: These were a good value and I’m very satisfied. Easy to assemble, nice color, sturdy, and perfect for my garage.

I have probably bought $25,000 worth of stuff on Amazon last year and is the worst thing I ever bought. I bought metal shelf’s from Costco and they were great cost a little more but worth it. I put this together and it’s so poorly made. It took awhile more than 15 minutes. You touch to move and supports would fall apart. I tried to return it but they said wanted $45 at UPS. Hard to believe the ratings quality is terrible.

I needed some additional shelving in the garage but didn’t have the space for a 48 inch wide unit. This product had a reasonable price and was the right size. It came well packaged with no damage and all of the parts included. Directions were clear and assembly was easy and is a one person job. It’s nice they included a small hammer/mallet. But if you have a larger rubber mallet, assembly will be easier. I have some similar bigger storage shelves from years ago (Husky brand) but unfortunately these shelves are more flimsy using less material. The strength is reinforced through new engineering of both the vertical and horizontal supports. Does it work? Yes but it is regrettable that sturdiness is traded off to keep production costs down. As some others have said the connectors between the two halves of the shelves are plastic and are insufficient to carry the weight of the top section. To address this the middle shelf needs to be set up across the connection between the two halves. That should be sufficient to give the unit the right amount of carrying strength but it does limit shelf location flexibility. In my case it wasn’t a problem. Otherwise it is a good product at a reasonable price. If you will be putting smaller items on the shelves, the metal grates will need to have a rigid material covering the grate as the wire openings in the grate are large and small things will fall through. I would buy this again but I still miss the more robust products of the past.
