My son has anxiety and has a hard time falling and staying alseep at night. It was recommended that I purchase him a weighted blanket. He now falls asleep easily and sleeps more than 2 hours at a time. He will sleep thru the whole night and even sleeps in some times.

The blankets (bought 2) do exactly what they're designed to do and thats create comfort and calmness to the sleeper. The issue I discovered was the blanket has 8 loops to tie the duvet to, The problem is there should be more. The blanket is bunched up at one end. I'm going to try safety pinning it in more sections. Otherwise, it's perfect.

I ordered this blanket for my 7 yr old who has ADD. He LOVES the blanket! He is able to get still and relaxed quicker now therefore allowing him to actually go to sleep quicker. He also seems to sleep more sound.

When we first got it folded in the bag, we thought it may be too heavy. But unfolded it is perfectly weighted. I definitely suggest a washable cover. It IS machine washable but, for the sake of the life of your washer try only needing to clean a cover regularly.
