The soap simply lacked ANY discernible lavender scent. And I mean ANY. However, one wishes for a bar of soap that lathers well, rinses easily and actually smells good - well, this is for you. So much suds. There is no skin residue and I actually feel really clean. I love the smell, it's like a baby but I am not sure what it is but it's not lavender. It is a refreshing smell, really clean. This made in the USA soap is gentle enough for our children and anyone with sensitive skin, and best of all it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin . All natural products are vegan, gluten-free, biodegradable and certified cruelty-free.

I'll confess that the 'baby' I'm using this on is myself! 'Baby' soap tends to be gentle and moisturizing so I like to use it. This soap smells decadent and yet the soap is gentle and rinses cleanly. Sure, it is very expensive but it is worth it.

The Relaxcation brand MADE IN USA LAVENDER & CHAMOMILE soap is gentle enough for sensitive skin and babies but the price is costly. I love specialty soaps and have ordered many but even though I loved this soap the price can't be justified to reorder. There are too many similar items on the market. I would order again if just a little less expensive because it is a quality soap.

This soap is just perfect! All natural, handmade in the USA, organic ingredients, beautiful color, and smells absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to use this on my baby that is on the way! This would make a wonderful addition to a baby shower gift basket. Honestly, it’s so nice I’m tempted to use it on myself before my baby even gets here!

I have tried the original version of this soap. It’s the same except this one also has lavender and chamomile.This soap has simple generally non-irritating ingredient. It has no added fragrance, but does have an Epsom salt smell to me.It lathers well and cleans well. Doesn’t leave the skin feeling super stripped, but my hands still feel a bit dry after. The lavender actually irritates the eczema I have on my hands.It’s handmade which you can tell by the imperfections of the shaping and the embossing, but it’s still pricey for a small bar of relatively affordable individual ingredients. I prefer the unscented one.For $13 I didn’t love this bar of soap, but it performs fine, so if it suits your budget and lavender doesn’t irritate you, go for it.To see the photos I attached more clearly, while on a computer right click and select ‘Open image in new tab’ for the full sized image.

My wife and I aren't in the baby days any longer - those days are well behind us now. I do like trying new soaps though. So, I was curious about this one since we always used liquid soaps for our kids. All the ingredients are top notch and skin friendly for anyone, let alone a baby. The bar is a good shape for both babies and anyone else - a round shape with no edges. It also makes it easier to use with wash cloths. When I first smelled this, I wasn't a fan. Then, after using it, I liked it. It is mildly scented - nothing to strong here. Lastly, I do like how it's made in the US - that does offer a little more peace of mind. Overall, I like this soap - just keep it out of the babies hands so he won't eat it!
