I was initially hesitant after reading the reviews, but glad I went ahead with the purchase. QC must have gone up because the item I received was perfect and exactly what I was looking for.The quality of the rails is excellent. They were straight and plenty strong for the intended use. The powder coating was great and the rail hole alignment was spot on. I checked every hole and found no thread defects or issues. I used AC Infinity Carbon Steel 10/32 Rack Screws and Nylon Washers 50-piece set, which I purchased separately. All screws used went in like butter as they should.I'm sure there might be some IT geeks out there who may feel these are not up to par or perhaps don't fit with their setup, but I don't think the product could realistically be any better. It's two powder coated lengths of steel with threaded holes and some markings. The ends do have the slightest burr from where it was cut to length, but this is a non-issue in my opinion. The packaging did have foam wrapped around each end as well as a caution label regarding any sharp edges.A good purchase for those who DIY and highly recommend.

Waste of money. The racks arrived and looked like they were good quality, but when I tried to use them the holes were not universally 10-32 thread. Some were, some weren't, some were but weren't thread all the way through. Unfortunately before I installed them, the return policy expired so I seem stuck with a useless pair of rack ears.

The only 10 U rails I could find. They are very solid and sturdy, but my woodworker complained that they don't have a straight surface anywhere on them. Getting them to mount flat meant cranking them as close to flat as they could get. They also don't have true 90-degree bends.3 stars for the above issues. Otherwise very sturdy, and once mounted, my rack gear did fit nicely. Screw holes are perfect spacing for my 1- and 2-U items.

I bought this product because I wanted to build my own wooden server cabinets at work to save money. Metal cabinets are very expensive and no where near as attractive. These brackets are very sturdy and much more cost effective then having to make my own. The perfect finishing touch. I highly recommend them if you need to accommodate rackmount hardware and are taking a DIY approach and building your own cabinets or racks.

I read the reviews and had my doubts, but the product I received was perfect to replace the rack rails in my road case. I had no issues with the threaded screw holes, and the rails were cut precisely. As of 6/22/2019, I believe this company is selling a great product at a great price.

I bought 6 pairs (varying sizes) of these to do my studio racks, and unfortunately ended up thoroughly disappointed. Yes they are on the less expensive end of the market, but just know that their quality is reflective of that. I also had the threading problems where I couldn't get some of my standard 10-32 rack screws to thread in properly. Also several of the rails had poor end cuts not being cut at nice right angles so if you don't have a little extra space (min 1/8") in your rack cabinet height they may have problems fitting, or lining up between the left rail and the right rail. Just not very precision oriented. They also don't have the 1.75" rack "U" spacing marks engraved on them like some competitors do, if that's important to you. For reference I have had positive experience with Penn Elcom and Middle Atlantic rails.

Excellent rails. I purchased the 10u set to make a rolling roadie case for about 1/10th of what is cost to buy a new one. My case turned out great and these rails have excellent machining and attention to detail. Because I am a control freak - i ran rack screws (the finer threaded) into every hole. Perfect!

Do NOT BUY!!!The holes are too small. They will not fit normal rack screws and if you try really hard to have them fit. they will break. but not go in all the way

For the price you wouldn't expect them to be milled so well.They are very close, but not perfect.But I'm talking within a ~5% margin, so perfectly acceptable.

I use to order a lot. The company use to have heavy duty railings, and now they sell low quality railings for higher price. The color chips and nut threads are so bad that you can not fasten screws. One hole was defective as there was no thread there, just a hole. Disappointed and need to find other ways to get those previous ones.
