Got this for our boondocking at NASCAR and other trips. Left it outside the whole time. Held up perfect. It stored flat which is nice for RV storage. Gonna grab 2 more for extended trips.

I had three of these, originally bought in the 1980s, for camping, etc. At almost 40 years old, were essential in handling water issues after the recent Tennessee/North Carolina flooding. My 80+ year old parents were without running water for two weeks. These plus a few buckets saw them through. Two of them leaked slightly, but again, 40 years old. Bought four new units as replacements. Recommend a couple 2.5 gallon size for drinking water/sink supply, while the 5 gallon units are better for storage.

These water containers were designed to be for holding water used in camping (for drinking, cooking, or showering). I have had one of these since the 1970s. They work reasonably well, but they can be a bit ungainly and they condense a lot of water on the outside (in humid weather) and the valve sometimes leaks a bit when stored with the valve in the down position. However, the main thing I use them for now is to replace tent stakes in campgrounds where stakes are not allowed or where tents can only be placed on concrete or crushed rock driveways. They don't take much space in the car/truck/van/camper when traveling, but if one fills them with water, they weigh about 40 lbs., enough to hold down one corner of most tents in pretty windy conditions. When you are done, you empty out the water, fold them up, and put them back into a fairly small space in your vehicle. Better than carrying bags of sand around with you.Even though the plastic is thinner in the current version of this product than it was back in the 1970s when I bought my first one, the current version is quite durable and folds well after use.

We've been using a Reliance 5gl water bag for camping for 20 years and are hoping to get many years out of this new one too. Vinyl is definitely thinner on the new one, but I love the new spout with a detent on the closed position. Fits into an old milk crate we have which helps to keep it stable and allows for 2 handed carrying.

The nozzle leaks where it's threaded on onto the container. Also 5 gallon is a bit too large, too heavy to easily handle.I would recommend 2.5 gallon.

Doesn't seal very well. The plastic bag is softer than the plastic screw on cap, making it difficult to get on properly. Tool serlveral tries to get it down to a drip. Handle holds well. I don't see this lasting more than a week on a camping trip

The storage cube is very well constructed and even though the material is easy to collapse, it seems very durable. It can be a little tricky to completely fill due to the soft sides but it hold water well and all of the fittings have held up well and there has been no issues with leaks or breakage. It is a great way to transport water or store short term.
