It's tiny as pictured, but worked well in the miniature manger and cradle my husband made. I painted it with acrylic paint and it held well. I did not particularly like the halo on his head, although I realize that was symbolic of his deity. I also would have preferred clothes on his body, but only had a "diaper" of sorts on his lower area. I painted it as if he had a light blue shirt on. Mothers would not have their child naked to the open air in a manger!If it had been wooden, it would have 5 stars, and wrapped in swaddling clothes, as described in the Bible.

It served the purpose of what I needed and it was not expensive at all. I realized before buying that it is very small. Pay attention to measurements because I think it's smaller than pictured in the man's hand.

Bany Jesus was the perfect size for a King Cake. Not so small that a famger it may get swallowed but not so large it becomes evident
