My Dad always wore a St. Jude medal as long as I knew him. He probably got one from the Shrine of St. Jude who sent them for free for a donation. He always had it on. He lost 1 at a hospital, got another. The night before he died on hospice he had it on and when the dust all settled they couldn't find it. We searched. The funeral home searched. Anyway, it was lost. We took a trip to scatter a few remains to his home town. I took pictures, his wedding ring, and this medal that I bought as a replacement for the trip. I still keep it with his most treasured items now that he's gone. I put it on various chains, necklaces at times and it held up.

I do really like the medal. It's unobtrusive and well cast.I wear it on a chain and it's beginning to tarnish, but only on the back side, against my skin.For $8.00, you can't really complain.

St. Jude the patron saint of lost causes… someone needs us. If that’s you (or you know someone) this is a beautiful, inexpensive little medallion. A great gift or buy for yourself. Hang it on a chain alone or with other medallions. Great value for the money.
