This is a nice bag but larger than any of my doumbeks . Only wish they fit more securely .

Had to send this one back. I have a wood doumbek and this bag swallowed it with way too much spaces in all dimensions. This Meinl is a MUCH better fit for most doumbeks AND the Meinl feels like it is made with better padding and overall better quality. I could not see trying to take the Remo as a carryon but would think about doing so with the Meinl.

I use this bag often for my gigs and I am extremely happy with this product. My 22 cm head darbuka fits in it perfectly and I love carrying it around with ease. I highly recommend this.

I purchased this to store my 10" Remo Ergo-Soloist to carry it from different venues and keep it from getting banged up. It is fairly well built and made of ballistic nylon. The zippers are over-sized and do not kink or cause problems in and of themselves. I use the storage pouch on the side for small items but be aware that the flap does not close completely so things have a bad habit of falling out. The strap is of really good quality with the exception of the clamps which are plastic. For this quality of bag, why settle for cheap clasps?Overall, the nylon is top notch, the embroidery is impeccable and very professional but the strap clasps detract from the overall appearance and longevity of the case. That is the only reason for 4 out of 5 stars for this carrying case. I highly recommend the case for the price.
