Constructed with high-strength Kevlar, the slam pad increases the longevity of your Bass drumhead as well as the beater attack in the sound of the drum. Additionally, the adhesive-backed patches are placed in the location where the beater contacts the drumhead increased sustainability. The pads are produced in different sizes, including single pedal circles or double pedal circles with 4-inch and 2.5-inch diameters.

The product didn’t come the same color as advertised that suppose to be black, it is white…. But not a problem to me… the think that really matter is to protect my mesh heads and fits great on my Roland TD 17 kv!!! I’m really happy 😌

I use this patch on my Yamaha acoustic and Roland TD30-KV V-Pro bass drums. It sets up absolutely perfectly for my Trick Dominator Double pedals' aluminum beaters and is easy to apply to the heads. The protection Kevlar gives over nylon is superior in my experience but it does give a more pronounced "click" especially with the Trick aluminum beaters (nothing noticeable with felt beaters.) They also help mute the drum but they can be trimmed down with sharp scissors. I definitely recommend Remo products including the Falam Slam Patch which prolongs the life of any bass drum beater head. I've never removed one so I really do not know much about that.

This brand was highly recommended to protect the mesh on my edrum bass mesh head. For the price its a bargain and made with kevlar, not just heavy plastic. It's kinda small and I had to adjust my beaters to get them both on it... but everything is working and no change in sound/playability.

Same review as many others. Great product, but it product picture shows a black pad, and this was more of your cream colored pad. Not a big deal but would have preferred black just for the look of it. Still 5/5.

Excellent patch, thick and durable with great adhesive. Got this to replace my Evans one that wore out and this one certainly seems much thicker. I use a felt beater head and this has a flat surface which doesn't wear the felt like the Evans one did. I doesn't change the acoustic signature of the kick too much and has a really good feel. As with most Remo stuff, I recommend this, they know what they are doing.

Lo uso ormai da tempo per la batteria elettronica... impedisce al battente di rovinarmi la pelle e attutisce un po anche il suono...non influisce sulla cattura del colpo da parte del pad elettronico che rimane preciso

Me gustó, se ve de buena calidad, solo que el parche de mi bombo es negro y querÃa que fuera negro para que combinará ya que en la imagen se ve que es de color negro, pero fuera de eso todo muy bien
