We had an old key fob with broken buttons and a busted pop-out key feature. It was about to become unuseable. We purchased this replacement fob which looks identical to the original. We took the original key and the new fob to a local locksmith and paid $65 to have the new key cut. Afterward, we followed some extremely simple instructions on line to program the new fob. These instructions came from the manufacturer of the new fob. This item is well made and works like a charm.

This item was purchased to replace a “lost?†spare key. It is not exactly the same as the original, in that to replace the battery (it does come with one) the original has a lower rear plate that you remove. This item requires the entire back to come off. No big deal, just different. Also, the function buttons are not placed in the same alignment. Once again, everything works fine, it just looks a little different.The only hard part is getting the actual key cut. Not hard at all. I took mine to the local Chevy dealer. Ten minutes and $10 later it was all done. Works normally. Then you program the buttons. There are about 100 videos online on how to do this. Takes about a minute in the driver’s seat. So, all good. Very satisfied.

Would not let me give 0 stars. Took the key fob I was sent to get cut and programmed only to find out the fob was locked and unable to work on the car. Would not even start the car, do not recommend buying from them.

Got this as a backup key and it works just as well as the OEM one. Programmed it easy although It has a small delay to it but not too big of a issue

I bought two keys, and had my local lock Smith cutt and program both Keys but one key had a bad chip and couldn't be programed which means it's unusable, so it's a hit and miss, hopefully I'm the only one that's happened to, but they are cheap buy multiple.

Cheap quality. Haven’t had a year and already has stopped working. After speanfing 180$ to have key cut for fob. Buttons to hard to push and didn’t work half of the time. It tells me needs new battery put new battery in and still won’t work .

I am very glad this item was sold on this platform. I like that I was able to purchase it for $25 instead of $300. It was easy for a locksmith to program it. I needed it to replace my original key fob that had no face settings. This recommended.

Once you get organized, check all the parts and keep the old and new fob separate its clear sailing. Take your time.

Waste of money. I’m not sure how they expect people to open the key when they have it screwed on. I’m out here trying to pry it open and I find out there’s a screw. The oem ones are easier to open than this. Waste of time and money. Useless product.
