For years, and up until a week ago, I was told a replacement programmable fob for my 2007 Impala SS would cost close to $300! Several auto places told me this! So, imagine my shock when I saw this fob! I was hesitant to get it, glad I did. In fact, I just ordered a 2nd one. Very easy to program…I cannot believe I’ve spent months fighting with the old fob. Great product! I have not had the opportunity to check its range.

My 2009 Chevy Impala included a way to program key fobs without having to pay to have it done. One auto dealer said it would be $100. 00 to program it, all profit for for the dealer. YouTube video shows how to simple program the key fob.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!! You can't remote start your car unless you are literally standing next to vehicle, PLUS, it stops working 90% of the time. All the buttons will work for one time, then shut car off, walk away, try again but nothing works! Not even locking up!You can't start your car from inside your warm home, which defeats the purpose of remote start! I had to be in the driver's seat or standing so close I can touch my car in order to get it to start, unlock and lock, and open the trunk. The ALARM BUTTON HAS NEVER WORKED so that's pointless as well since it's meant to go off if there's intruders!Wasted TIME AND MONEY for new batteries! It STILL DOESN'T WORK!Vendor emailed me to say "just buy new batteries" which I shouldn't have to do but did anyways. Very upsetting that I wasted time waiting for batteries that I WAS FORCED to buy, and now wasting MORE TIME to package up, print label, and drive this RETURN to UPS!!
