They have a much better design than typical shutter dogs. The only reason I’m giving it three stars is all of the screws rusted within a month. One of the screws rusted off and broke leaving the shutter dog unusable. That being said, I am re-ordering and just buying better screws. The product itself did not rust, only the screws.

Only one shutter hardware piece came in. It said pair. On one of my sets it came in damaged.

I ordered these to use as "working" holdbacks. The screws are very light weight and I had to drill out the holes and replace with drywall screws. The photo is a little off in that the center of the device is not a "nub" but also a relatively light screw head. They are working fine for me after a month of use
