I’ve put in hundreds of cameras from other brands, Reolink is by far the best camera brand I have used. The cameras in this system are aluminum and sturdy, have decent picture quality, and have worked flawlessly. Setup of the DVR went smoothly and I was able to quickly connect to it with my phone. No complaints, will be buying more in the future!

Bought this system, and then bought 2 extra cameras in order to use all 8 channels. Easy setup. Install is as easy or hard as you make it. I ran 3/4 EMT and fished the cat6 through. I believe reolink sells mounts, but I fashioned my own.The cameras work great, especially considering the price point. I did have 2 cameras fail about 45 days after installing, but I contacted reolink. They honored their warranty and I had 2 new cameras 2 days later. Just had to foot the bill to return the failed cameras...not a bad deal.Only downside I've found to this system is their app. Not the most user friendly thing, but it works.All in all, I highly recommend this system to any home or business owner looking for an economical and dependable DIY security solution.

Got this to replace an old Annke CVI sustem. The image quality is a lot better, and the POE is both easier to install and more robust. Cameras are all metal rather than cheap plastic and the mounts are easier to aim.Fairly easy to get running on my local LAN. Worked well with both a monitor attached to the NVR as well as remotely (over the LAN) using Reolink client S/W on my PC. The Local WIFI on my network also worked well with the Reolink App on my Iphone. Be sure to download the complete setup guide, the booklet the come with the system is pretty worthless.If you want to remote access either by the internet or cellular connection, you need to read up on the network options with can get pretty complicated. The UID simplifies things but you need to make sure to read the support page "How to Enable UID for Reolink Products". If you don't use UID, then some serious network configuration will be required.Setting up motion/subject detection is a trial and error process. It does seem to work fairly well, but can produce false alarms (moths and bugs flying in front camera). The alarm notification by text or email could get to be a bother in that case if it happens a lot.One negative is the the included cables are quite thin, cheap and only 60 feet long. The KableDirect (Black/Silver) LAN cables are great, $12/100 feet and are outdoor rated and shielded, which I used instead.Another minor issue is that the supplied weatherproof cover for the Ethernet connector can't be used with these better cables, so you will need some kind of junction box to protect them outdoors.

System came in quick, setup was easy. Better system than my older one. Cameras are very clear and night vision is great. Using network cabling is a snap. In three days I have installed 6 out of eight cameras. I can access the cams on my laptop and iPhone when away from home.

Second house, Second REOlink system. Once you get one you can't go back. It does it all clarity, viewing angle, connectivity, and good value for the money. If we move I'll get another system. Also have WiFi unit and they work great.

The system is fantastic! The product’s quality, straightforward installation, and intuitive software warrant a 10-star rating out of 5. Although I initially had some difficulty reaching the customer service team, once I communicated with them, I found them to be extremely helpful. They did everything possible to resolve my issues. I’m thrilled to have this system for the first time, and from today on, I am a big fan of Reolink.

I bought these cameras over 2 years ago. They work great. I've had issues over the past 2 weeks that I have not experienced before. The cameras and NVR are great. I called customer service and they immediately walked me through fixing my issue and I'm no longer under warranty! Then I had a different issue caused be performing the reset the previous call and immediately they fixed that also. They are great!
