Update:Reolink reached out to me and addressed each of my concerns, including replacing a falty camera. My cameras are working smoothly through the app and a few third party services.Original:The cameras a great and they are easy to set up. The problem the software is very much in beta and this product was released before it was ready. The continuous recording feature they advertise here doesn’t work unless you contact support and ask them to push a firmware that is not available anywhere. Also one of my cameras keeps disconnecting for no reason even though it is right outside the room with the WiFi antenna. My other camera on the other side of the house is rock solid. Also I’ve a camera disconnects from WiFi it won’t connect back until you get on your ladder and restart it. Why it doesn’t have a function to search for WiFi every 30 minutes or something to save energy is beyond me.I haven’t decided if I’m going to return them, because when they are stable they work great.

Love it! It's been an easy process so far. At this point I've had the hub for about 3 weeks with no issues. Set up was a bit challenging because 2 of my cameras needed an update that was not available. However, after reaching out to reolink it was sent over in like 5 minutes. Since then it's been perfect.

I bought this to fix the lag for reviewing video from MicroSD cards. First, all of my cameras were not compatible even though a few were listed as such. The indoor cheap E1 was of course the only compatible one..my Argus PT 4mp will be after a firmware update in mid July. My Argus 2s no compatibility. Second, The hub generates it's own wifi. With no antennas or signal boosters this is great for a small 1600 sq ft home single story. I have a two story concrete block home and can't get a good signal to my outdoor cameras. I then have to connect my cameras as standalone to my network and then to the hub bypassing the hubs built in wifi. There is no option to extend the wifi with a repeater since it is not made this way. Third, for some reason the cameras are set to 30 second recording after a trigger and Im getting about 3-5 seconds of video not sure why. Have latest firmware on them. Another issue I have which is prob the Argus 3 pro is it won't connect to the hub without a firmware update. It notifies me and then it won't update. It is a continuous loop. For the price you should get at least an included 128 gb micro SD card not a measly 64gb one, and at least a way to extend the wifi abilities of the unit. Not sure if it is worth the price yet.Pros: easy setup and seems well built. The playback is faster than SD cards. Hopefully there is some updates and a way to boost the signal.Update: I gave up using this stupid box. My cameras kept loosing connection. I spent hrs trying work arounds but it just won't work. My house is too large and I have thick solid concrete beams that the signal wont go through. Back to using micro SD cards and a wifi repeater. Dont buy!!

2nd Update. I have to say Reolink support is really amazing. They keep offering me refunds. So, at the moment I'm fairly happy. I moved the hub about 18" further away from the router where it is connected and I'm no longer having my camera disconnect several times a day. Coincidence? Perhaps...The integration of the camera/hub combo with Home Assistant is very good. I may increase my footprint into Reolink with their video doorbell, but I'm holding out for an updated version of the doorbell.

Have had a reolink off grid camera for a couple years now. Just purchased a couple reolink internet connected cameras and they have worked well so far and am satisfied with their customer service. Will purchase from again.

Easy setup with (8max) Reolink E1's and RLC's (check UID prefix to be sure). a couple of 128GB microSD's provides plenty of storage. Easy setup in the existing Reolink apps. In no time, you'll be recording motion. Added notifications to GMail (hint: add a filter w/ labels) No monthly fees - the best part of all.I have additional Reolink cameras (more than the 8) - it seems to be a better solution to just buy a 2nd hub versus a Pro version. The Pro version would be worth it if it had object recognition in the hub as opposed to the cameras.3 of the cameras are WiFi and 5 are PoE. No range issues with the WiFi but I have a small 1700 sq ft house. I did NOT configure to use the cameras on my home Orbi mesh - I just used the default setup. I would like to switch to the Orbi network when possible.

I wanted to like this unit. Seemed to be great to have all my cameras connected to the same storage and with an easy interface to review them. As it turns out you can only connect cameras in two ways: 1. From ethernet connected cameras on your LAN and 2. From the WiFi created by the new hub. This means that if you have widely spaced cameras, as I do, and if your cameras are connected by a broad home WiFI network as mine are: Then the hub won't generate a strong enough signal to reach your cameras, and it won't connect to them through your LAN because they are not linked in by ethernet connections. This makes the hub useless for my system, this contrasts with the Eufy hub which connects to my home WiFI and then easily finds all the Eufy cameras.Thank goodness for Amazon's easy return policy, all this cost me was 2 hours of attempted install time.

I wanted to add this to my home network as a client device. Unfortunately it forces you to use its WiFi capability which has terrible signal strength. As a result, the Argus sitting 7 feet away with solar panel loses its charge after about 15 hours despite being in full sun for 8 hours a day. I missed the return window so now it’s a pretty paperweight until the mobile app gets a promised update (no ETA from support)

The hub does not recognize the included 64 G SD card. It does get picked up when inserted to a PC.Contacted customer service and was asked to try another SD card. Purchased one and was reimbursed for the purchase. More than Happy !

The idea behind this is awesome, much like the Eufy Homebase but Reolink's home hub is very unpredictable.Set up was very simple and straight forward but cameras keep disconnecting from the hub. The only cameras I've had no issues with are the front and back doorbell. I've had it connected to numerous other cameras and each at one point or another loses connection. Some are as close as 10 feet from the hub.
