I wanted to get rid of the moveable pins (pain in the butt) on my old Smith Machine. I ordered this 8 slot wall mount barbell rack and bolted it in after drilling a few holes. The barbell rack was delivered in a timely manner and is made of very high grade material. it makes moving the barbell much easier. see before and after pictures.

Wow! This was delivered super fast! Glad you are only one state over! Thanks so much! This will help my husband and I organize our bars a little better (and keep them off the floor ☺ï¸). We are definitely impressed with the quality of them. Now to install!😋 🛠ï¸Might share a pic once installed.

This is a solidly built wall rack with heavy powder coating and non-metallic material to protect the bars from abrasion.I did a lot of research to see this thing in action, as I have three specialty bars: hex deadlift, EliteFTS Safety Squat, and a Titan cambered multigrip bar. I was worried that they wouldn’t fit well, but now I can verify that the bar spacing is sufficient to put a multigrip bar next to a straight Olympic bar with no issues aside from minimal removal space. Two issues keep this from five stars.1) The pockets will hold a fatter bar, but not as well as I’d like. Round the pockets just a bit and let the 2†bars sit comfortably as the Olympic bars do.2) Item came with concrete wall anchors, not lag bolts. Although I would want to choose the length of the bolt going into my studs permanently, packing a $100 rack with eight washered lag bolts seems like a good concession to the customer.

Sturdy, strong and has uhmw protection for your bars. As others have stated, if you have sheetrock or open wall studs you'll need to go your local hardware store to purchase lag bolts. The included mounting equipment while decent is meant for concrete only. I used the 3/8" X 2" lag bolts and that worked well. I contemplated taking off a star for this but for the quality and price I couldn't justify it.

Came broken. Plastic is too brittle.

I use this for storage of barbells and weighted bars and it works perfect. I screwed it into two studs that are 32 inches on center and it makes the spread between the arm 35 inches. The included hardware is for mounting in a solid wall (ie cement or block). I purchased heavy duty screws (FastenMaster FMHLGM278-50 HeadLOK Heavy-Duty Flathead Fastener, 2-â…ž Inches) which give it a clean finish because they are the same black at the storage rack. They also do not require a predrilled pilot hole. You can buy the HeadLok screws on amazon (50 pack) or at home depot (12 pack and it includes the T30 head you will need to install them).

These are commercial grade racks that we use in our YMCA free weight room. They are handsome, professiona looking and the plasic covers over the notches are perfect for preserving the weight bars we store on them. Love these racks.
