I replaced the original Dometic awning motor on a 2019 ORV 270 RKS. It’s only been a month but so far it works correctly and it was quite a cost saver. The quality appears good. Installation was not bad if your mechanical. My wife lent a extra hand, and you really need a second person.

Pretty easy install, and works great. The wires are a little shorter than the OEM one, so I had to find some slack, but my trailer had plenty in the arm assembly so no biggie.

One & done, save your money, this item is JUNK ! Replacement motor delivered 4/6/2024, installed on 4/26, relatively easy installation and a single test extend, then retract, worked as expected. We only get to use the camper a few times each season so I did not try the awning again until this weekend 6/22. The motor extended approximately one inch and completely stopped working, it will not extend or retract. 12 volt power to the motor was verified. The "Return window" had expired. Spent your dollars elsewhere !

This is a direct replacement that fit perfectly. Time will tell how long it will last. The original had water intrusion due to tilting awning down on side of motor. Water pooled inside the roll tube submersing the moter in water causing it to fail.

This thing works! It is an exact replacement for a Dometic 91000 series awning. It installs simply and easily. Can't speak to longevity since I just installed it but it is priced so low that I could replace this once a year and still not pay what I would have paid at the RV dealers for 5 years! Study the online videos on how to do it (about an hour job) and save yourself a bundle!

Installed the unit, operated first time ok, although it kept intermittently stopping, on the second attempt it simply stopped working and just gave a clicking noise

Getting after Amazon support seems impossible. They list that it is warrentied but it quit just after the Amazon return time. Getting ahold of E-cowlboy seems impossible for replacement.
