Works as advertised I needed a longer cable wish it was meter longer hard to find a 6 to 8 meter cable with connections I needed

I thought my Bose noise cancelling headphones cable stopped working. It made sense being around 5 years ago at the time. I bought a new cable and a second one just in case. 10 years later, I used my old Bose original cable by mistake and it worked. Not only that, the sound controls work. I don't regret that I have 3 cables now.

EDIT: The customer service team proactively reached out to me to resolve the issue. They sent me a new wire and I was able to get it working a bit better with my laptop with the help of a 3rd party program. However, on the phone, it's still tricky to use because I still get quite a bit of background/rubbing noise/echos. I give this a higher rating to reflect the help I received.---I bought this wire as a replacement for my Bose QC45's original cable. The audio quality is very good. However, the mic is very poor. I don't know if I just received a bad wire but it picks up all of the background noise and my voice sounds muffled and very piercing with lots of echo as well. Unfortunately, I can only use it as an audio cable instead of communications.
