I bought this for my 2012 Ram 2500 to replace my original key fob. The contacts came off the back of the pad, so I bought this, and used the circuit board off of my original. It was very easy and took about 2 minutes. Much much cheaper than buying a key fob from the dealer and programming it.

Product arrived quickly. I kept the original 🔑 body /housing and replaced the rubber portion area where it truly wears over time. Keys worked like new again now.

Used this since my remote stopped working on some buttons. The inside button depressors work amazingly. I just bought this to replace the rubber part of my key fob and it worked great.

Key fob is not the same. The internals are different and will not close around computer chip insert. Left is new one. right is original.

All I had to do was transfer my previous chip and battery into this one and it works like new! I almost spent $100s of dollars thinking I needed to get a newly programed key fob. Only issue is my previously cut key will not stay in place on the new key fob. But I'll make it work by taping it in place or purchase a key fob cover. Either way I'm still saving money by not having to get it programmed.

I broke the piece of my key fob that connects the battery. I was starting to panic thinking it would cost me $300 to replace at the dealer. Then I came across this and thought for the price I’ll try it. Well… it worked perfectly. I will admit getting it to snap together was hard. Like hard enough that it made me sweat and curse and I’m not sure my thumbs will ever be the same. But once I finally heard the snap, I tried it out and it worked perfectly. I just took the inside components of my original key and put them in this one. Voila! Working key. If you break your key fob I highly recommend trying this before going to the dealer and paying a fortune.
