Update October 2024:I purchased this battery again. It worked great for about 2 weeks. Now it has no suction power and randomly dies when there is still power. Would NOT recommend.Updated September 2024:I’ve used this for 5 months now and it’s dead. My vacuum did the exact thing it did before- just randomly started dying in the middle of the floor with no error message and plenty of “chargeâ€. Since it’s cheap enough, I’m going to order one more to give it another shot and just hold me over until I feel like I have to buy one straight from Shark.I will say for those 5 months, it worked great. It stopped working very suddenly.Original post from April 2024:I bought a refurbished shark robot vacuum off a different online platform. I even bought the extra 2 year warranty. Of course, about 4 months after the warranty expired, my vacuum randomly started dying in the middle of the floor. No error message. Nothing blocking it. It wasn’t lost- I even witnessed it running like normal then just stopping. I didn’t think it was the battery because I would be able to hit the clean button and it would start again and sometimes go for a while. And it would charge like normal on the dock.I tried everything. But because there wasn’t an error message, I had no leads.This was my last shot before I was going to throw it away thinking it was shot.Not only has my vacuum worked like normal since replacing it with this battery- it works better. Before it would only complete half the house before going back to charge. Which I assumed was reasonable, it’s a large enough area and I read that carpet will cause it to run harder/wear the battery down.With this new battery, it has enough power to do the whole floor.I haven’t had it for a super long time so I can’t speak to how long the battery will last. But it’s been worth the significantly cheaper price to buy it on Amazon than from Shark directly.

This is the second non OEM battery I have purchased for the Shark Robot RV1001AE and it has proven itself to be better than the previous one. The battery indicator after installation on the Shark app said it was at zero percent for several hours after it began charging but the next day was at 100%. Once fully charged I put the robot to work and unlike the previous battery this new one lasted through the two hours of cleaning with one recharge break after 60 minutes. I am very pleased with this batteries performance and compatibility.
