I like my Traeger Pro-22, but the OEM controller was crap. Set temps would routinely fluctuate +/- 75 degrees or more. "Smoke" setting was almost worthless. Instead of holding 160-180 degrees (per Traeger manual), it would either flame out or otherwise climb as high as 300, sometimes ruining the meat. Tempted to return the smoker, but it made more sense to try an aftermarket controller. Very happy with the YAOWE product. Easy installation, perfect fit. Set-temps now maintain within a narrow range, usually +/- 15 degrees. Best feature of this controller is the adjustable "P" setting, only active while using the "Smoke" setting. Allows you to customize the control for your own grill, & adjust for weather conditions. Have run it for 9 months now, & dozens of cooks. Flawless performance both winter & summer, from subzero temps (& wind) up to 90 degree evenings. Adjust the 'P' setting up or down dependent on outside temps, & it holds smoke temp between 155-185. Very pleased with the product, and find it to be an exceptional value. Highly recommend.

These are a great, inexpensive addition or replacement of a Traeger probe(s). I have a 22 and they work as well as OEM.

I bought the wrong ones! But wiggled out of it by using a headphone adapter. Wiring is a little delicate, but work well.

I have a Brinkman smoker and have had to replace many parts and all were Traeger compatible. One negative is I cannot custom set smoke timing. What I like is that it does provide meat temp by pressing the temp check. What it does not provide is meat done temp alert.

This was the second controller I purchased… the first was too complicated and failed to control temps. This one keeps the temp +/- 5° from where it is set. Great purchase!

I bought one of these a year ago to replaced the original Traeger. It lasted about a year functioning, but about eight months after I purchased it the digital display went completely out. I bought a new one of these exact same brand exact same company and installed it, but it would not get above 250° no matter how high I turn the thermostat. Return that in Amazon immediately sent me a new one the next day, but when I went to install that one. The two wires on the temperature probe get screwed into a green piece on the motherboard of this unit. The screws were so tight that I could not barely turn them at all in order to tighten them down on the wires and when they got about a half a turn, the green piece almost completely broke off a motherboard. Usually, I have good luck with stuff that’s not brand name. However, being held this was three unit units. It’s better off just buying the unit original
