The probe port makes it easy to feed probes into your grill without crushing or damaging the sensor cord under the lid. Allow multiple probes insertion
Probe Grommet Size (Approximate):
1. Opening diameter 0.70''(18mm)
2. Overall height 0.24"(6mm)
3. Metal thickness 0.06''(1.5mm)
4. Overall diameter 0.94''(24mm)
You can refer to the size for a DIY opening hole
It is recommended that you use a knife to cut the probe insertion hole along the "X" line before installation, to prevent the grommet from falling when the probe is inserted for the first time

After losing the rubber grommet on my first cook on my Traeger, i purchased these. They fit the pro 575 perfectly and have worked great. 2 grommets are provided and i have yet to need to use the second one. Perfect replacement for a great price. The thermometer cable is held in place appropriately and no smoke is lost through the grommet.

Not as good as the originals but really close. Does the job no heat escapes past the seal so it keeps cooking unaffected. These were a two pack so even better.

Perfect replacement for my broken one. Not sure how much heat actually keeps in, But im ocd and wanted it fixed. And I’m very happy with it.

Think this is just a design flaw but we're constantly replacing these. Every time we remove the meat thermometer from our Traeger these little plugs fall out and usually end up lost.
