These pots are made specificially for orchids and can be either left on their own with the orchid or inserted inside another potter. I have done both and both have worked out great. I love that there are so many varying sizes, that was helpful for me with my different sized orchids. These were much stronger quality then what your orchid comes in from the store, I think I want to eventually transfer all of my plants into one of these.

It looks sturdy and appearance is good no need for a decorative pot and lots of holes for drainage and plant aeration and for the price not bad at all

I absolutely love these for my indoor houseplants. I plant my houseplants in these and then place them into my decorative terracotta planters. I love that these have drainage on the bottom and the sides - great for water drainage to keep the plants from sitting water and rotting the roots. I also love that as they are clear so I can see how wet they are and see the plants root system. They do not taper at the bottom so be sure to account for that if placing them in decorative pots. I usually just size up the decorative pot one to two sizes.

Launching into cultivating orchids. These pots are translucent (rather than transparent as per the description on the product page) for root development and have multiple slots in the sides and many holes in the bottom to allow for the best drainage. The material seems sturdy. There are four sizes in the set. Exactly what I was looking for. I have bought from rePotme before and was expecting a well designed product. Fast shipping. No problems.

I like this pot a lot. But the lip is slightly bigger than the ceramic pot I pot my orchids in. So it sticks up a little.
