We use this outdoors for our desert tortoise. He is a year old and can easily climb in and out. He is able to eat easily from the dish.
It is not very deep but it is enough to get her feet wet and to get her head in for some water. Worked well for a tortoise! Great for food, water or wading for the torty. Perfect habitat accessories for our tortoise.
It looks good and has held up to constant use and cleaning. my tortoises love this water bowl.

We bought this for our tortoise to use for his water dish and this works perfectly for him. Shallow enough for him to drink out of and big enough to hold a bit of water in it.

We got a baby sulccata tortoise and it's easy for her to get in and out of the water, hold plenty of water. Not too high, good quality, easy to clean, looks okay, not super pretty. Good versatility, you could use efor food or water

I am caring for two tortoises and they really like this shallow pool for warm water. They step right into it, and with a warm light over them sometimes they just fall asleep in it.
