I have a window platform bird feeder, and use this to keep the birdseed from spilling out. Also, it holds a perfect amount of bird seed and the birds love standing on the edges and in it. Lastly, it’s easier to clean than placing the birds love seed on the bottom area of my window feeder.

Build quality is great, it is a heavy weight. Holds over a quart of water. I have purchased two and will purchase again when my youngest snakes grow larger. I do wish there were other color options. Like a slate color. Otherwise a good value for the money.

Our salamanders love the size of this. It’s like a small swimming pool for both of them. They had the small size and I decided to get the large one. They love it! It gives them more room to stretch out and snuggle together and soak. It is so cute watching them stick their heads out and then hurry and put their heads down to hide. It’s nice that it has ridges like steps in it so they can walk out of it easy. We don’t have to worry about them drowning. It is safe and not too big or too small like the other medium size we had. It fits perfect in their ten gallon tank with room to move around on the floor of the tank with the coconut soil to burrow in. It looks like natural rock and it is nice and durable.

This water bowl is perfect. I wanted a large soaking bowl for this rescued whites tree frog. It's huge. Plenty of space for him to sit.

If this comes in different sizes, I ordered the largest one. I wanted a big swimming pool for my white’s tree frogs (dumpies). I like the look of resin, faux-rock water bowls, so I’m happy with the way it looks. The size and depth is great for my larger tree frogs.The only issue might be the weight. It’s pretty heavy/sturdy, so depending on your abilities, you may struggle changing the water frequently.
